I've never bought refurbished before. However, I couldn't see any reason why I wouldn't give it a go given the crazy prices of new phones nowadays. My OnePlus 5T was bought in 'good' condition. While the casing is probably in 'fair' condition, the screen is mint, it charges excellently, is literally as good as new - and most importantly - the battery keeps its charge perfectly. And with my new case on it, you'd never see any casing scuffs anyway. I know buying a refurbished phone can be hit and miss, but for my first experience, it was a hit. The smartphone is in very good condition, as advertised. However, I was very disappointed to see that it was refurbished in Estonia, almost 3000km from my home! The shipping was fast but the environmental impact of this purchase was much worse than I wanted. Especially since the delays were so long, UPS certainly used air freight to ensure the delivery. On closer inspection, the refurbisher's name was listed on the product page, but I thought everything was refurbished in France, so I didn't suspect it. After the battery performance of my OnePlus T5 had deteriorated after 5.5 years, I actually only wanted to have the battery replaced. Since that alone cost €100, I decided to buy a refurbished one for €169. The battery life is as usual, you just have to be careful that it doesn't get below 20% or so. Then it just goes out. I begin by remarking: I chose the condition grade "Excellent". The condition of the phone is perfect externally and, it seems, internally as well. I have tested it and everything works perfectly. However, the battery lasts only a short time and it is noticeable that it had already lost a little of its maximum charge before I got my hands on it. On the other hand, I think it is very bad policy to sell a phone that clearly works with fast charging of more than 20W with a 10W charger. You can't take advantage of all the phone's functionalities. Although we all have chargers, in this case you can't get the most out of the device if you don't have the original charger or one of similar power. Therefore, it is equivalent to not selling the whole product.
