Upon turning on the laptop for the first time, I discovered that it had not been factory reset prior to shipment.
The laptop was running an active Windows setup belonging to the previous owner, complete with their personal files, installed applications and configured user profile.
Even worse, the background service for TeamViewer was set to automatically run at boot, creepy!
System recovery partitions were missing, preventing a standard built-in reset. Realised I needed to reinstall Windows.
Had to create an official Windows 11 installation drive on a separate USB stick and perform a complete drive format to manually wipe all existing partitions and feel safe.
Not pleased.
