The laptop I bought works and performs well. The only annoying thing is that the condition described here as "like new" (at the time of purchase it was still described as "excellent") does not correspond to the facts. The device has signs of use in the form of small dents and scratches, especially on the side of the power plug connection. I also found a break underneath the screen.
As I am dependent on a device with a Windows operating system for certain applications, I am keeping the computer.
But it's not okay. For a computer in this condition (which is neither "like new" nor "very good"), I would actually have spent a maximum of €500.
Back Market has to ask itself what exactly the service charge is for. Hardly for a thorough quality check.
