The phone was in excellent condition without scratches. As for the battery, next time it is better to take with a new battery. The standard battery is not so weak - but not good either. I bought an s23 ultra for 700 euro (new it costs 1400 euro). The shipping was very fast and within only two days the smartphone was already at my home. I bought the 'excellent' mode, so theoretically it should have had zero scratches, new battery and screen. So it was.
