No issues – the phone’s working fine. I just had to change the language, which was initially set to German. Otherwise, one minor downside: the microphone crackles a lot (mainly during voice messages), but this doesn’t seem to be a fault with the phone itself. It’s down to the A range, which isn’t as high-performing as the S range.

The first surprise on receiving the phone was that not only did the screen have a scratch on it, even though the 'very good condition' option states that there should be no scratches on the screen, but it was also a 5G (network) model, even though I'd chosen specifically for 4G and had chosen this model based on this parameter. But then the real problem comes: the phone is actually managed by a company, I can't control or choose anything on it, and the company automatically installs applications and has access to all my info, microphone, camera etc... After hours of research, I've learned that only the company's subcontractor can remotely deactivate the managed mode. I still had to find out which company it was before explaining everything and trying to get the contacts to start again, so it was quite an adventure... And in the end I find out that it's a stolen phone! The worst thing is that the after-sales service is simply unreachable, and all you get is a list of automatic options such as battery, screen or casing faults... so it's impossible to find someone to help me, it's in my bones! So well done Backmarket, you've come a long way down! And you've lost a loyal customer for good! Instead of receiving a phone that I paid for, you've wasted an incredible amount of time, energy and maybe even £350, at the worst possible moment when I was due to go abroad for work and needed this phone, which I can't even send back for a refund! It's going to end up in court, that's all I had time for!

Docomo configured device, which obviously wasn't reset before shipping, I still have a lot of stuff in Japanese, like emojis and news that I can't deactivate !!! Nothing was mentioned on the website at the time of purchase :(

Bjr, first of all I had ordered a 1st smartphone and about 2 hours later I received 1 email telling me: out of stock! I ordered another one, a little more expensive. Fast delivery, I'm trying to get to grips with it (before I had a touch phone) and I sometimes discover pages with Korean or Japanese writing, which I didn't think belonged there. I had a sim that was far too big, so I go to Orange to get a proper one, transfer my phonebook and I can't see it directly, I have to go through an app? In fact it's not a Samsung but a DOCOMO Galaxy. The seller told me that it's a copy and that's why I've got Asian writing on it. So I had to send it back and I'm waiting for a refund.
