This refurbished unit arrived in good condition, exhibiting only minor cosmetic imperfections such as a single scratch on the lid. It included a new battery and has been successfully upgraded to macOS Monterey (though this is not officially supported; macOS Monterey represents the latest compatible operating system). Performance is exceptionally smooth with minimal heat generation, a significant improvement over my previous 2019 MacBook Pro, which recently failed. Due to budget constraints, this model was the optimal replacement, and I am very satisfied with its performance.

The condition exceeded my expectations. There isn’t a scratch on the computer, everything functions as it should. It should be noted that a third party charger is provided. The hinge is slightly loose and a screw is slightly out but that’s an easy fix, but aside from that, the computer is as good as new. I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Needed a super cheap MacBook for use while accompanying my mum as she has surgery on the other side of the country and stumbled on Back Market as a safer and more convenient alternative to auction sites. And it's both: safer and more convenient. And cheaper! Plus the care that went into refurbishing this computer shines out: very well done, exactly as described. The outside was a bit scratched, as they said it would be, but a cheap plastic case I got covers this. Bam: a perfect MacBook. They gave themselves 10 days to deliver it and it arrived in 4 days, very well protected in its packaging. I'm super pleased and will be back for other purchases, from this supplier and from Back Market, when the need arises.

Absolutely BRILLIANT. Ordered this after another Seller cancelled the order; Lizard Tech sent it *four days* early! Then there was a little glitch so it was posted back for repair with BM customer service in constant communication. Now my MacBook is back with me and working beautifully. I love Apple products but can only afford them if refurbished. I would only use Back Market for future purchases, preferably from this Seller, who is absolutely amazing.
