Dell Latitude 5440 14-inch (2023) - Core i5 - Gen 13 (U) - 16GB - SSD 512 GB AZERTY - French

I received the wrong device. I ordered a Latitude 5440 (paid 600 euros, release year 2023) and received a Latitude 5430 (value 440 euros, release year 2022). This is for my son and we are just a few days away from the start of the school year. So I can't easily make an exchange. Faced with a fait accompli, I told myself that even if it's not what I ordered, I would ask for a refund of the difference, so 160 euros. I'm told that the maximum they can refund is 10% of the order, so 60 euros. It's a shame because the minimum and fairest thing, in my opinion, after this error would have been a refund of the difference (or even more, because it's not what I ordered). Now the 5440 is out of stock. So I assume the seller ran out of stock and still wanted to fulfill the order with an older model, hoping I wouldn't notice. Either it's a mistake (in which case a refund of at least the difference seems fair to me), or it's dishonesty.
