I bought a camera via the Back Market because the ad clearly stated 'camera + lens'. Upon delivery, however, I only received the camera, without the lens included in the offer description.
I immediately reported the problem to the platform, which contacted the supplier. The supplier explicitly admitted to the mistake and initially offered me a refund/compensation of €80 to solve the problem. Shortly afterwards, however, he retraced his steps and withdrew the proposal, leaving me with the return of the camera as the only solution.
What I find particularly serious is that this situation has not only caused me an administrative inconvenience: it has created real damage. I already lost one job last weekend because I could not use the equipment as planned, and I will risk losing more over the coming weekend.
When I bought the product, I expected to receive exactly what was described in the advertisement and to be able to rely on a serious and reliable service. Unfortunately the handling of this matter was very disappointing, especially considering that the error was acknowledged by the seller himself.
