    The iPhone 13 Pro Max arrived in impeccable aesthetic condition, exactly as described, with no scratches at all. However, the technical experience was disappointing: the charging port was so dirty that it wouldn't charge (I had to clean it myself to get it working) and the battery health is at 84%. I am not returning it only because I love the device and need it for immediate use, but I expected a better technical inspection for the price paid

    It works. All except for a "forward" button, for some reason. IDK if that's fixable, but probably should have been checked. "back" button works, AUX mode works, it sounds just like Sony speakers should sound when playing a CD, but that "forward" button is a bit of an issue. Not tried the BT yet, just a bit of a fan of "old school style" connectivity. I hope it works. Neither have I ever turned on the radio on it - there is totally nothing to listen to there ) But many thanks for an original item, one that's not even made like this nowadays, that's actually cool.

    This was very disappointing and not up to previous standards of my experiences with BackMarket. The unit was filthy, the internal replaceable charcoal filter was dirty and old (cost 99c each to replace). This supplier clearly has no respect for their customers and needs to improve their service, or Backmarket needs to bar them from using their website - I would happily have paid €5 more for a clean unit. The hinge of the door covering the water reservoir was broken and looks like it had been broken for some time, based on the state of the break. Also the packaging was not properly done and the unit could have been broken even more in transit. I have detailed photos.
