    The ordering and delivery process was top-notch. Ordered on Wednesday and delivered by Friday to a relay point. The packaging was clean and appropriate: the computer was protected in a bubble wrap sleeve, the charger was packed separately, all in a box designed for this type of equipment. However, there were two problems concerning the received hardware. First observation: to convert the keyboard to AZERTY, the keys were not replaced. Stickers were simply placed on the original keys. frankly, the result is disappointing. The stickers create an extra thickness and quite sharp edges, which are very unpleasant under the fingers when typing. They also block a large part of the backlight, which negates much of the benefit of a backlit keyboard. On keys where the characters differ significantly between the original layout and French AZERTY, the old characters are also visible through the stickers. This results in superimposed letters and symbols, sometimes difficult to read, with a frankly hideous appearance (see photo). Second problem: the 65W charger provided is not an original Dell charger, but a generic, unbranded one. More importantly, it causes a very clear malfunction of the touchpad: when the charger is powered, the cursor becomes slow, imprecise during small movements, and can make sudden jumps. The problem is easily reproducible: on battery, the touchpad is perfectly smooth and precise. By leaving the USB-C cable connected to the computer but only cutting the AC power to the charger, the touchpad immediately returns to normal. As soon as the charger is reconnected, the problems reappear. There are clearly electrical disturbances generated by the charger that affect the operation of the capacitive touchpad. The computer itself seems to be in good condition, but these two points are unacceptable for a refurbished product: a keyboard crudely converted to AZERTY using stickers that degrade both typing comfort, readability, and backlighting, as well as a generic charger that severely degrades the touchpad's functionality. I will therefore ask Back Market and/or the refurbisher to send an original Dell charger suitable for this Latitude 5420, as well as a satisfactory solution regarding the keyboard to obtain a true backlit French AZERTY keyboard, and not a sticker conversion.
