By buying from BackMarket, you're doing your bit for the planet, but let's be honest, you're also buying equipment that's cheaper than new, so you're saving a bit of money. Now, the Realme C11 that I've just ordered for just over €100, I've just found after a quick internet search for €80... brand new! And on two of the main online retailers. New for 20% less than second-hand, that leaves a bit of a sour taste and the unpleasant impression of having been careless. But hey, I've done my bit to save the planet... and I'll continue to call on you for my future hi tech purchases, remembering to check the new price beforehand (the end of the world or the end of the month!).
