Panasonic Camera Lense Leica DG Vario-Elmarit ASPH Panasonic 50-200mm 2.8

Hello, After receiving the lens, I checked the various functions and modes to see if the lens fitted to my GH6, which followed on from my GH5, complied with the usual product description. Yesterday while preparing my equipment I checked the current firmware version which is 1.O and the GH6 version 2.2. After the usual preparations of formatting the sd card, downloading the Bin file and dropping it into the root of the card and inserting the card into the GH6 with a charged battery, the update to v 1.2 started, the green progress bar stopped after a few seconds. A minute went by, 5 minutes went by which I thought was a long time compared to the updates I've done on my targets at other times, I left the GH6 on for 30 minutes with the same message appearing on the screen and the progress bar in the same place. I took the battery out to stop the update. I switched the GH6 back on and it works as before and the version shown is the same 1.0. So it's an anomaly not to be able to access the improvements to the lens. What solution would you suggest: 1. I send you the lens back and you refund me the €1289. 2.
