Overall happy with the MacBook, my only issue is that once I had set it up I was already told the battery needed servicing. Even for just a fair quality product, I’d expect the battery to be tested and replaced when refurbishing?

I had a very negative experience with the purchase of the MacBook Pro 2016 on the Back Market website. The product didn't arrive, and I didn't receive any information throughout the process. After 12 days of waiting, a refund was issued, but only after an exhaustive email exchange that dragged on for 3 days.

Worked amazing and came in great condition with the battery at 100 health and with a low cycle count.

Unfortunately, I had to send the computer back after a week. I'd installed everything, it was ready to use, but on my first morning of work, it shut down 3 times for no reason in 3 hours, causing me to lose work I'd already done. As this was my second bad experience with a refurbished MacBook on BackMarket, I asked for a refund rather than a repair. As an added detail, the computer had not been reset (a "MAC" admin account had been created, normally, a reconditioned computer should be handled like a new one. I was unable to delete this account or rename it). Unfortunately, I won't be buying any more MacBooks from BackMarket.

this is the first time I've used back market and the laptop came so so quick it's crazy the unit lives up to its name and I'm really enjoying it thank you
