Google Pixel 8 256GB - Black - Unlocked

So happy with my Google Pixel 8 - feels and looks like a new phone. Hadn't considered having a refurbished phone until a family member recommended 'Back Market'. So pleased I followed their advice and saved a lot of money!

Nothing wrong with Back Market. Fast and careful delivery as usual. I've still got mixed feelings about the Google Pixel 8. It's very pleasant to use every day and compared to my old refurbished phone, it's improved in terms of ergonomics, photo quality and fluidity of use. However, I'm a little disappointed by the battery, which drains quite quickly despite really reasonable use (internet browsing and listening to podcasts, no location, no route finding activated) and a fairly long recharging time. In other words, I regret having paid so much for this phone. And I'm wondering whether I'm going to send it back...

Overall pretty happy with my purchase of a Pixel. Was understandably nervous about spending over £300 on a refurbished phone but it works very smoothly and the battery life, one of my main worries, is excellent - up to 2 days with my use. I chose an "excellent" condition phone, the screen and body are immaculate, no signs of any use. There is a slight scrape on the camera bar which is noticeable but really not an issue especially as I now have the phone in a case. I am missing the design, ergonomics and lighter weight of my Samsung S10, the Pixel 8 is noticeably heavier and thicker and the protruding camera bar takes a bit of getting used to. But the Pixel 8 is faster and with much smoother connectivity. The camera app is a pleasure to use and gives great results. The Back Market website is very well designed and made it easy to choose a phone. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a phone from Back Market again based on my experience. I've saved ££s and helped the environment. The only reason I rate my experience as "Pretty Good" rather than "Awesome" is because I ordered the slightly more expensive grey model, but received a cheaper black model. But I elected to keep this as wasn'...

I bought it as "good" condition but it was basically like new, so I was very happy with it. The battery thus far is exactly what I'd expect of a new phone. It arrived in minimal packaging without loads of unnecessary plastic which was good. Only downside is it didn't come with the original charging plug, but luckily I already had one from my previous pixel phone. Would definitely recommend buying a refurbished phone and will continue to do so in future.

I'm going to do a rating on 2 levels: the phone : arrived in perfect condition as expected and purchased but... ...disappointed... I took my Samsung A54 back as a result...: screen too small battery life dwindling lots (too many) settings available but ultimately useless for my purposes on the other hand, the photos are just amazing, that's for sure. the OS with no overlay is just great, and the screen quality is really excellent. Backmarket : this is the second time I've ordered from the site... excellent in every way excellent delivery speed you're kept up to date with everything from purchase to delivery in a very clear and simple way. the after-sales service is very, very good and very fast too. I said I didn't want to keep the phone and immediately had a free returns slip to print out. I waited 3 days for the parcel to be returned to the reconditioner, who refunded me in full immediately. I will certainly continue to order from backmarket without hesitation.
