In very good condition and battery seems fine but keyboard has been configured incorrectly. For example, through trial and error eventually discovered that the @ character is only accessible via shift and figure 2 which should really be “ on standard keyboard and that’s why the key states. The actual key with @ symbol provides an apostrophe (‘) instead which is quite confusing when typing. Aside from these key configuration oddities it seems like a good solid laptop. It should have been advertised as some keyboard keys being incorrect/mixed up and is possibly why it’s a refurb unit.

So.... I received the device in a timely manner, however when it arrived there was clear visible damage to the laptop casing, the screen had popped out of its frame and the space bar was stiff. I reported it to BackMarket who said i could sent it back for repair, replacement or get a refund if i wished, I didn't want a refund as i wanted the laptop so i sent it back for a replacement. HOWEVER, it was clear the seller received it, didn't even open the box and just sent it back, in the same condition i sent to them in. So of-course upon its arrival it returned and the screen was still compromised and out of its frame and the space bar was still stiff. I reported this to BackMarket who appallingly don't seem to realize how much of an inconvenience not having the product in suitable condition could be, they offered me to send it back (Taking more time out of my week that I don't have) and offered me a measly 5% off coupon code for a future order.... I'm unsure if I will send it back or just accept that I cannot trust BackMarkets sellers to sell non faulty or compromised gear, I really need the laptop for work so to send it back would mean I'm unable to work and I can't not work. The laptop itself other than the compromised casing ( screen that doesnt fully click into its frame) and the slightly stiff space bar, does work fine, its speedy and responsive but it is NOT in the condition I would expect a BackMarket - Good condition item to be in. Has really knocked my trust in this company because you just never know who their sellers are. Warning others as it was clear that the seller didn't care at all based on how quickly they resent the item, I doubt they even opened the box because the original tape I used to close the box was still in place. Totally horrible etiquette from a seller.
