5/5Really great value and as expected. Fair condition meant a large visible scratch and some more minor ones on the lid, couldn't care less. Screen came with protection and it looks okay (haven't checked under it yet). Ports are tight (not worn out), keyboard excellent, no visible wear and tear. Shipping as expected too, well protected. 4.8/5MacBook arrived in very discreet, well padded packaging. The product was graded excellent and it looks like it has just been taken out of its original packaging and then re packaged. No sign of it ever being used. I’m very happy. If i had of bought this being told it was brand new I would of believed it. It did arrive a day late but that is a fault of the courier not back market or the seller. 5/5Great laptop and service. It arrived like new - sealed and Apple Refurbished, so certainly worthy of ‘Excellent’, category. Unfortunately it was a US MacBook Pro but the only difference was the lack of £ key and US plug. It came with a US travel adapter but I felt this wasn’t good enough. The Backmarket team were superb and gave me £30 to pay for duck foot plug. Excellent service. 5/5Another great deal from the guys at BackMarket and the teams of refurbishers around the UK; the first were two Apple iPhone SEs that were in excellent condition and work perfectly, and now this impressive Apple MacBook Pro - also excellent condition and not a mark on it. It replaces our 2009 MacBook which still works incredibly well but is slower than a slow thing. The M2 chip on this new one is amazing! 4.4/5An honest review. Read this if you are unsure. I ordered the MacBook Pro M1 2020 (Very good/Excellent) and overall I'd say im happy with it. It's my first MacBook so there has been a slight learning curve but nothing too difficult. It's great for what I need it for; Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Logic all work fine on the M1 chip. I do feel like the grade I got doesn't fully match the product I received. The apple logo on the back is pretty scuffed as well as there being a few scratches. The scratches are small but they are visible from far away (further than 20cm as listed). Amongst those minor visible defects, unfortunately, the space bar isn't hooked on properly so when I'm typing I have to make sure to slow down a bit in order to hit it properly. From what I can tell, it shouldn't be a difficult fix but I feel like the keys should have been put on properly if I'm paying what I paid at the advertised "excellent quality". Taking into consideration the downsides to this, I feel like it's more then worth it to take a slight hit on the quality as if I were to buy this for brand new I would be paying close to £400 extra.
