Mixed. The service from BackMarket was great; technical support and help with my refund (after an initial misunderstanding). I can't fault the BackMarket service. The laptop arrived in great condition and I was initially very pleased. HOWEVER, the laptop could not be updated with Windows Updates. The laptop was configured with too small a System Partition and with non-standard, hidden, Partitions, that prevented a fix by me or by BackMarket support. If I was more technical, or if I trusted the Seller more then I may have been able to re-build the laptop to a standard configuration and sort it out. The Seller should NOT have supplied the laptop in a state that could not be updated or fixed by a competent user. The Seller should have set the laptop up better. I would now expect the Seller or BackMarket to CONFIRM IN ADVANCE that laptops can be updated with standard Windows updates and that there are no non-standard configurations. I returned the laptop for a full refund and bought a new, less good, laptop which cost me more. Ultimately this left a bad taste and I am not likely to use BackMarket again - even though the issue is probably with one specific Seller
