I chose the 'perfect' condition and the camera was indeed in very good condition. There was just a small eraser at the bottom that didn't show up, but there were no visible scratches on the device. I was able to check the battery, and it seems to be in good condition. It's not new, but it holds a charge well. The battery life, compared with a new one, is slightly less, but I bought it for courses. It still lasts me 5 to 6 hours of lessons. I bought an external battery to charge it and it works very well.
The only criticism is that I had specifically asked for an AZERTY keyboard because I'm in France. The keyboard is AZERTY, but I think it's a Quebec AZERTY, so some keys are not in the same place. The first time I used it, I had some bugs. I recommend that if you have a key like that, you program "Québécois français" or whatever in the keyboard settings, otherwise you'll get a lot of bugs.
Another thing, when it arrived, the battery only charged to 50% and no more. I didn't want to send it back because it would take 12 days and I'd bought it because I needed it urgently. What's more, I wasn't able to send an e-mail or make a phone call, which was really annoying. The only thing I was offered was a refund or to send the device back. When I looked it up on the internet, I discovered that this was something that repairers do to fix the computer and keep the battery life going. So I asked ChatGPT how to disable this function and now it works fine. But a simple email reply would have sufficed and I would have saved myself a lot of stress trying to work out what was wrong.
I got this computer because I didn't have a big budget and I'd bought a PC. That PC, with the same budget, didn't even last a year and what's more it wasn't repairable. I had to buy another one in a hurry with the same
budget. So I decided to get a better one, but second-hand. And so far, I don't regret my choice. It's light, so I can work in class, on the train, and so on. It's beautiful and as good as new. Oh, and another thing, I wasn't expecting it but it's grey, unlike the photo which shows it in black, but I think that's rather nice. In any case, don't be fooled by the colour of the photo.
