    Opinion after 1 month of use of - Lenovo ThinkPad T580 15" Core i7 1.9GHz - SSD 256Go - 32 Go AZERTY, vendeur NLR The purchase went perfectly: fast delivery, careful packaging, and the product is visually in "perfect condition" as advertised. After several tests, I discovered that this model has two batteries: a primary (internal) and a secondary (external). Using the official Lenovo Vantage software, I realised that the internal battery was dead - a detail I'd never have seen without a bit of digging. Odd for a product in 'perfect condition', but hey... I contacted the after-sales service. Very quick response: they offered me either a refund or a repair. As I couldn't do without the computer, I decided to keep it, especially as the external battery lasts between 1h and 1h30, which is still reasonable. I asked for a commercial gesture, which was granted: €30 refunded, which doesn't cover an internal battery, but it's still something. Very responsive and friendly after-sales service. Despite this problem, I consider that the computer is still an excellent bargain for the price paid, i.e. €332 after the €30 refund. Hence my 4 stars, and not 5 because of this defect which could (or should?) have been detected before the sale.

    So after seeing the comments, I'm quite surprised. You get a computer that works very well, has 16 gigs of ram and has an 8th generation i7 processor though. The battery was pretty tired. So I'd give it 5 stars for that part, because the price of the computer was really very low. The technicians had to make a change to the screen and as a result it wasn't re-clipped correctly, so that's where it loses a star. My use is for a portable computer, not a laptop. Quite simply, once I get to the place where I'm using it, I plug it in. That's it. PS, given the price of RAM at the moment, the computer was really cheap.

    Well packaged, perfect exterior! However, the first time I switched it on, I got a "fan error" message... Being in the business, I opened the machine, and the fan was blocked by small debris, so it was impossible for it to turn...and therefore to cool the processor! So I dismantled the cooling system, and realised that the thermal paste was hard (so it probably hadn't been replaced), and there was none on the graphics part of the processor... It's a good thing the computer didn't cost much... it wouldn't have lasted a year of multitasking in this state...
