I used to be an absolute Back Market fan, but now I'm just disappointed. A device bought in "very good" condition gives up the ghost after about 1.5 years of moderate use. It's annoying, but it can happen. Fortunately, the 2-year back market guarantee was still available at the time. After describing the problem and sending photos, I was told that "unfortunately our repair partner can't solve the problem". "But don't worry, we have another solution for you..... Instead of sending your device in for repair, take it to a local independent repair centre and ask for a quote for the repair." " If everything works, we'll refund the cost of the repair. If not, we'll offer you another solution." Three workshops I then contacted came to the same conclusion as Back Market's repair partner. The device cannot be repaired. Without the possibility of a repair, there is of course no estimate for a repair. So only the last option remained "we offer you another option" My enquiry about "the other option" has still not been answered. The keyboard has a non-repairable problem, but on contacting the seller he just denied outright that there could be a problem. So I just let the computer sit for years without using it, as it all seemed too much of a hassle and I had other things to worry about. Even a repair café wasn't much help. Fortunately, now I'm motivated and you can find cheap parts on second-hand websites...
