First of all, very fast delivery. I have been using this macbook for a few months now and I am extremely satisfied with it. I ordered it in "fair condition", there are a few bumps on the underside of the computer but you have to look closely, from a distance it looks like new. As for the inside of the Mac: nothing to complain about. This is my first Apple computer and I can clearly see the difference with computers from other brands: the speed is unbeatable and so is the performance. No bells and whistles, fast operation. I also have an iPhone and the two devices communicate perfectly well. I was also a bit worried that this model was too old (2017) for today (2024) but for student use (lots of Excel) and personal use it works perfectly well. In short, I highly recommend Apple computers and what's more this refurbisher is very satisfactory. It took me a long time to switch to Apple for computers but I don't regret it at all and considering the new price, refurbishing is an excellent alternative for a first purchase.

Purchased the MacBook to replace an identical one I had that the mother board had gone, so cheaper to buy than repair. Purchased the 'Excellent' level model, so would expect good quality case and battery life. First impression was not great as case has little chipped out/dented metal parts all around its circumference, especially the back edge. When received and switched on the battery was at 30%, already a little concerned as that made me think that the battery was not holding its charge. Also the battery drains very quickly compared to what I was use to with my identical (now broken) MacBook. I would not have cared so much about the above, but I did pay the extra for the version that was classed as excellent and at best I would rate it as good. Wish I paid less for that option now, a risk that did not pay off. Will live with it, but a little disappointed tbh.

After a nightmare experience with one I bought a couple of months ago (and had to return), this time it was all good. The item arrived faster than expected (ie next day) and looks to be in as-new condition. Had a few issues setting it up but that was just down to the usual software quirks. It's now up and running and is excellent, reminding me of how much I miss these lightweight little Macbook 12s and wish Apple would launch an updated one.

Like my previous purchases on BackMarket, excellent service and product quality, similar to a previous purchase of mine almost three years ago. I report here the only problem I encountered this time: the keyboard specified in the order is QWERTY-Italian, but the real one is a sort of 'hybrid' between QWERTY-British (ISO) and -Italian, some keys in fact have the first layout, and during configuration the system indicated, among other things, just the international UK keyboard... Considering this to be a minor problem, I independently used stickers to have an Italian keyboard throughout. I recommend that both BackMarket and Okamac pay more attention to these situations in the future. Thank you.

Thanks to Okamac for the purchase of my Mac Everything matches in terms of technical specifications, however, I took an As New grade but it still has some visible defects that for me should have been reserved for very good condition. So I'm going to keep it, but pay attention to the condition of the products before putting them in certain grades.

I got the "Very Good" quality and it only has a small nick on the right corner and small scratches from use. It works perfectly and comes with instructions on how to set the keyboard to your language and how to make the battery last longer. Unbeatable value for money.

The product was as expected. With a 7 year old laptop, signs of use are to be expected. I find the installation instructions absolutely outstanding. The best I've seen so far. I have the MacBook 12 running on the latest MacOS 14.4.1 with the help of OpenCore Patcher. Runs absolutely smoothly. The programmes I use are rather atypical for Mac, but still * Eclipse Papyrus * Obeo Capella * Eclipse JDK * Eclipse Theia * Microsoft VisualStudio Code * Dassault Systèmes NoMagic Cameo * Oracle JDeveloper * JetBrains IntelliJ run amazingly smoothly.

ease of purchase++ Tried to repair a computer that wasn't working remotely. I had to call customer service 3 times to obtain the procedure for returning faulty equipment. received my new computer without a hitch. It works very well. thank you for your responsiveness.

It arrived in great packaging, I like this my reconditioned mac, it works great 🙂👍🏽
